Pension Alabastr was just perfect for us. It is such a great location -- a short walk to everything, but on a quiet little street. The staff was very helpful, and I loved having the garden. And the information packet you sent was really helpful, too -- it takes a good map in Prague to find your way around!
In Ceske Budejovice, Hotel Bohemia is such an excellent place to suggest. It's charming, with friendly staff always around, in an ideal location. 5 minutes walk to Centrum, and facing a large, lovely park with a small river. We couldn't imagine a nicer place to stay there. (...)

I have to apologise - that's half Polish and bad Czech, I think! (my books are all at home so I can't remind myself of the spelling and proper words. And no haceks in my email software.)
I just wanted to say thankyou so much for all of the help you offered myself, my fellow-tutors, and all of our students! Although I had brought a group before, I had previously left all the booking arrangements to an agent in the UK. So it was a new experience to have to find a hotel for a large group, that was affordable, user-friendly and reasonably walkable from the city centre, yet outside the normal 'tourist' zone - we prefer the students to see how everyday residents live, not only the denizens of Stare Mesto, Nove Mesto, Mala Strana, Hradcany...
Zizkov and Hotel Grand which you booked for us worked very well, and the efficient airport transfers took a load off my mind.
The reason I originally approached you was your website, which is excellent - well-structured, good-looking and full of the information people like us need: it gave me great confidence that Mary's would be a helpful well-run operation to do business with (this is even more important when it was 40 other people's money I had the responsibility of spending!) That was before I met Katka, Iva and Dana, who were all reassuringly relaxed as well as responsive. We found ourselves in very good hands indeed. If anyone asks me in future, I know who I'll tell them to contact - the super-reliable friendly crew at Mary's.

first of all i would like to say what a beautifull city PRAGUE is, one of the more memorable short stay trips we have had, we visit many contries and cities that offer short stay trips, as for your company i would highly recommend to anyone to use your agency, although the apartment was not our first choice, was basic, but very very COMFORTABLE AND CLEAN and very central for all the major sights within minutes of walking distance. (you must say thank you to PETER for greeting us on arrival and bidding farewell to us at the end of our stay), the taxi service was EXCELLENT it was waiting for us on arrival and was prompt on our departure, but most of all our biggest THANK YOU must go to the person who booked our theatre tickets for LES MISERABLES as we had the BEST seats in the theatre (i was celebrating my 40th birthday THANK YOU) once again THANK YOU to all concerned in the involvement of our short stay in your city we look forward to visiting PRAGUE many more times and using your company at all times. your company and your staff have made this a most memorable 40th birthday for me. i am sure your company will prosper at the same rate as PRAGUE with the FIRST CLASS SERVICE you provide your clients.

I had done 2 months of research, and contacted well over 10+ agencies with regard to apartments in Prague. I compared prices, services and accommodations in Prague. The best of all was Mary's Travel (+420 222-253-510). The staff at Mary's Travel speak: Czech, English, German, French, and Russian fluently.
I was picked up at the airport. No hassle, no wait! Cost for the transfer from airport to apartment: 500 CZK.
I had a mobile phone already programmed and ready to use for me. You can also rent phones at the airport, if you like to wait in line, and then spend time trying to learn to program it with the SIMS card! Mary's Travel offers very competitive rate - 100 CZK per day for mobile phone.
I was told exactly how long it takes for me to arrive at my apartment. I was tired after a long flight, so they knew that I wanted to relax as soon as possible! We arrived at the apartment on Vinhoradska, Praha 2. I was shown around the area, and the location of the Metro and shopping center. It is about 1 minute walking distance to Flora Metro Station, and Flora Palac (Mall & shopping center). The area is nice, quite, and very secure. My luggage was carried in, and I was shown around the apartment. I was also provided a 24 hour phone number in case I needed something.
The best thing about this apartment is that you have a full complete facility with full kitchen, and cleaning service. My apartment was cleaned every 2 days, and I was provided with new sheets and towels. Oh yes, I had a king size bed! No pesky reception desks!
Mary's Travel has over 50 apartments around Prague. Some are at downtown, and some are in Praha 2 & 4.
I spent on average $48 per day. 2 days during my stay was considered high season, so I had to pay a little more.
My return flight was at 07:35 AM, and I wanted to get to airport early. The driver was ready and at my apartment at 05:00 AM!
So call them, and ask for Katka or Ivana. They are really wonderful!
