The Union Hotel is situated in a stylized, newly reconstructed building in the historical centre of the town right opposite the most attractive Louny dominant – St. Nicolas´ Church. The hotel was established in 1907 and those days it belonged to the best equipped facilities of this kind in Louny. Today we offer a pleasant and quiet stay in 25 double and single rooms, each with its own bathroom, telephone and satellite TV. The hotel further offers these services: stylized restaurant and old magistrates´s office with the capacity of 120 seats and wide choice of meals and drinks, 3 business lounges with the capacity of 50, 40 and 10 seats suitable for in-service trainings and presentations, also for various activities, food services for banguets, parties and wedding parties, evenings with dancing and live music, exchange office, secured parking place and garages, possibility to arrange hiking, sports or cultural events. With its location and prices the hotel is suitable especially for visitors of Prague and Karlsbad. Operator of the restaurant is the Louny Brewery which was estabilished in 1892 by the Duke Adolf Josef Schwarzenberg, the founder and its first owner. At the present, the Louny Brewery holds the position of an important regional brewery with the annual production capacity of 360.000 hectolitres. Important contrators of Louny beer are also business partners from Germany, Spain and U.S.A. It is possilbe to arrange a guided tour: visit the brewery and taste the beer.
