The Akademik Behounek Spa Hotel built in 1975 has been designed for rendering complete spa services. The building with 6 storeys above ground and 3 underground is an eye-catching dominant towering above the valley of Jachymov. From all its terraces and balconies it offers a breathtaking view of the Ore Mountains panorama. A speciality of this sanatorium is the "divanery" for the Arabic clientele.
Accommodation: The accommodation capacity of the Spa Hotel is 320 beds in single and double rooms, 6 of them are suited for wheel-chair patients. It offers also 4 comfortable suites.
All the rooms have a balcony, a bathroom with shower or bathtub, WC, TV with satellite programmes, a refrigerator and a telephone.
Therapy: There is a non-stop in-house medical service. The complete medical services and therapeutic procedures are rendered even to patients with severe afflictions.
